the Baby Boomer’s next move

We are living the downsizing dream and we are excited to share that dream with our customers. Like so many baby boomers, we had the house that accommodated all the kids and their friends, numerous pets over the years, entertaining for large gatherings, overnight guests who loved our south Florida location. But then the kids left for various parts of the country, started families of their own, and as much as they enjoyed the southern Florida life, decided it wasn’t the only place they wanted to vacation. And surprisingly to us, we missed Connecticut. We sold our Florida home to a young family who would grow into that house and we designed a home that fit our lifestyle in every way possible.
Our new home design features an open floor plan with a kitchen-dining-family room, a first floor master bedroom suite with a laundry/office close by and three bedrooms and two baths on the second floor. We chose to finish only one room on the second floor as a bedroom with its own bath, a second room has become a music studio and in the third room we built a cedar closet. And there are so many other possibilities for the second floor – exercise room, art/yoga studio.
Since starting our new adventure, we have found so many people were in the same position we were. They had had enough of the enormous house designed to address every potential – 20+ for Thanksgiving, the kids and their grandchildren for spring break – all with its associated expenses of upkeep, utilities, not to mention taxes.
Take a few minutes to view our web site and see the fabulous designs intended to meet the needs of the downsizing baby boomer and still provide the exceptional quality that we have come to enjoy. We are award winning custom home builders with a history of customer satisfaction.
