Project Description
Locally known as the “Castle”, this home has been in the same family since it was built over 150 years ago. The Castle sits atop the highest point in New London, Connecticut overlooking historic Ocean Beach and Long Island Sound. In 2012 the owners decided to undertake a complete renovation of the home that had not been updated since the ‘50s. The home was gutted down to its exterior stone walls and completely rebuilt. The complexity of the project required a blend of skill, knowledge and cooperation among the owners, architect and builder.
